Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data the synori.ai website collects, why, who processes it and which rights you have.

Who we are

Synori runs synori.ai and is the controller of the personal data described here. For questions about this policy or about your data, write to [email protected].

What we collect

Waitlist: your email address, the platform you visit from, the form you used and when you sent it.

Early access requests: your first and last name, your work email, your role and your company's industry, your company name and phone number if you give them, your selected plan and the number of seats for Team, the platform you visit from and when you sent the request.

Support requests: your email address, subject, message, ticket reference and when you sent the request. We store these to handle your request and send them to our configured support system.

Technical data: like any web server, ours receives your IP address with every request. It uses the address only to limit how often one address can send a form, and keeps it in memory for no more than 24 hours after your last submission. Neither your IP address nor your browser's user-agent string is stored with your entry, and server logs record what happened to each submission without your email address or IP address.

Analytics: we count visits with Plausible Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses or other personal identifiers. It tells visitors apart by a hash of the IP address and browser that changes every day, and we see only totals, such as pages viewed, referring sites, countries and which buttons were used. The Synori.AI app itself carries no analytics and no telemetry.

Spam protection: the forms use an external anti-spam service that tells people from bots. It runs a check in your browser when you use a form, and our server sends the result to the service together with your IP address. The check is strictly necessary for the forms to work, and neither the site nor Plausible sets cookies — which is why there is no cookie banner.

The site is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Why we collect it

To tell you when Synori.AI is available for your platform, to contact you about early access when you ask for it, to answer your support requests, and to send you the install link when you ask for it. Technical data keeps the forms safe from spam and abuse, and analytics shows us, in total, how the site is used. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling, and we make no automated decisions about you.

Legal basis

Forms: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by sending the form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to [email protected]; withdrawing does not affect what we did with your data before.

Spam protection, rate limiting, server logs and analytics: our legitimate interest in keeping the site and its forms safe and in knowing, in total, how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time.

Giving us your data is voluntary. Without an email address, though, we cannot put you on the waitlist or answer your request.

How long we keep it

Waitlist entries: until Synori.AI launches on the platform you asked about, plus 90 days — and no longer than 24 months in any case.

Early access requests: until we have followed up on your request, and no longer than 24 months.

Support requests: no longer than 24 months, after which the server deletes them automatically. You can ask us to delete your request earlier.

IP addresses in the rate limit: no more than 24 hours after your last submission. Plausible keeps only totals, which contain no personal data.

Who processes it

We share your data only with the providers that run the site for us, under data processing agreements and only as far as each of them needs it: our hosting provider, which runs the server and the database with the form entries; the anti-spam service that checks the forms; and Plausible, which runs the analytics on servers in the EU. Write to [email protected] and we will tell you who they are.

Our support system receives the details of support requests so our team can respond to them.

Nobody else receives your data, unless the law requires us to pass it on.

Transfers outside the EU

The anti-spam service is based in the United States. Data it processes for us is transferred under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses; write to [email protected] for a copy of these safeguards.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, object to processing based on our legitimate interests and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected] from the address you gave us, and we will answer within one month.

You can also complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work.

We do not sell personal data, so the CCPA right to opt out of a sale does not apply.

Changes to this policy

We publish every new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use the email address you gave us, we tell you by email before it takes effect.
